Join Jeff Price for A Tour of Virginia Lime Works
Greetings!
You know when I'm out on the campaign trail and talking to folks, I tell them about my life in a small family business and the amazing experiences that I have had. I feel like I have made mortar my whole life, from playing in the sandpile on Dad's masonry job sites at the age of six to now, where I find myself consulting on projects like the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Virginia State Capitol.
A lot of people have told me that I should open the doors to Virginia Lime Works and let people see with their own eyes what we've been able to accomplish in historic preservation and ecologically friendly building. Therefore, I've decided that I am going to host a meet & greet for myself!
Join me and the Amherst County Democratic Committee for an evening of fun and fellowship as I give folks a behind the scenes tour of Virginia Lime Works. You'll see handcrafted plaster ceilings, handmade paints, and even traditional fresco (like the Sistine Chapel Ceiling). We'll also tour our new Eco-Cottage which absorbs carbon dioxide from the air, saving our planet one building at a time. I have always said that my background in hard work and problem solving will serve me well when I represent the 24th district in the House of Delegates. I'd like to give you the opportunity to get a glimpse into that background.
Please join me at Virginia Lime Works from 5:30- 7:30 this Thursday, August 6th. Light refreshments will be served and contributions to Friends of Jeff Price are greatly appreciated.
Virginia Lime Works is located right off of Rt 29 behind Pete's Auto Sales (111 Highview Dr. Madison Heights, VA). If you miss us from 29 you can access our back parking lot by our truck entrance behind Aqua Pro Pools and Spa at the corner of 29 and Dixie Airport Road.
