There is less than two weeks to the election and I want to say Thank You for all the work you have done to elect Bert Dodson as our Senator in the 22nd District. On all the issues that matter to poor and middle class workers and women Bert is standing tall for us. Burt's knowledge on job creation is head and shoulders above what the republican is offering.
Friday, October 28th, 6:00 - 8:00 PM - Lynchburg Democratic Committee Fall 2011 Fundraiser will be held In the Parlor Ballroom located at 9th & Main Streets in Lynchburg, Virginia. Bert Dodson will be the Guest of Honor. There will be heavy hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar and a Kindle e-book reader for a door prize. Tickets are $25.00. Louisa County Commonwealth’s Attorney Tom Garrett lives in the county he serves, but unless he moved back to the Bumpass home owned by his ex-wife, the Republican state Senate candidate wouldn’t have been eligible to run in the newly created 22nd District. As much trouble as his ex-wife has getting money out of Tom she's in no position to put up a fuss.
ReplyDeleteThe decision to reconcile with his ex-wife opened the door for Garrett's and preceded decision to run, and should he not win the political race he will presue bachelorhood again. While Garrett’s candidacy paperwork shows him living at the home of his ex-wife Dana Garrett in Bumpass, a separate home just beyond the district’s boundaries in Mineral is listed under his name. Garrett's assistant is renting the home in Mineal and also running for Garretts old job.
Opponents have leapt, suggesting Garrett is using his ex-wife’s address only to claim residency. They point to voter-registration records showing Garrett changing address just before filing for candidacy in mid-May.
Tom Garrett couldn’t get 1 vote out of a thousand indy voters.For the Tea party to feel so strong about everyone paying their own bills they have endorsed a candidate that has a problem paying his bills.

Tom Garrett is a very flawed candidate with ALOT of baggage.I sure wish someone would release Tom’s many skeletons. If the Republicans don’t the Democrats sure will. Im sure Dotson has the info but he sure isn’t going to release it until the last minute. If a man won’t pay for his home or his childrens care what else has he beaten people out of ?
ReplyDeleteDid you know that Tom Garrett had to be evicted from a home he couldn’t pay for? That Garrett was also was taken to court for unpaid child care services for $2,000 and found liable?
