Manchin Announces ‘Public Safety and Second Amendment Rights Protection Act’ Available to Public

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) announced today that the Public Safety and Second Amendment Rights Protection Act he introduced with Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA) is available to the public.

“I encourage all West Virginians, gun owners, NRA members and all Americans interested in fixing our culture of mass violence to read this bill,” Senator Manchin said. “This bill simply prevents criminals and the dangerously mentally ill from purchasing guns while protecting our Second Amendment rights. This bipartisan, commonsense compromise closes the existing background check system’s loopholes by including all advertised commercial sales. It also protects gun sellers’ and gun owners’ rights.

“Senator Toomey and I are confident that if people take the time to read the details of this important legislation, there will be
nationwide support.”

Wayne LaPierre of the NRA is cold blooded and unaffected by the brutal murder of 6 and 7 year old children. The gun makers pay him to look out for their interest.

The NRA does not represent We The People, it works for the gun manufacturers and lobbies full time for zero restrictions on the sale of guns. If you are on the Terriorist Watch List and not allowed to fly you can still buy a gun thanks to the NRA. No matter what damage is done by a gun the Maker of that gun is not liable for any damages thanks to the NRA. Background checks are done on guns purchased only at gun stores, not at swap meets, gun shows, net sales and private party transactions such as straw purchases thanks to the NRA. The NRA lobbies full time to make the sales of guns untraceable and available to all with no reguard to criminal record or mental stability. Most politicians of both parties are in the pocket of the NRA.

The Public Safety and Second Amendment Rights Protection Act Will Not:

The bill will not, in any way, shape, or form infringe upon anyone’s Second Amendment rights to keep and bear arms.

The bill will not take away anyone’s guns.

The bill will not ban any type of firearm.

The bill will not ban or restrict the use of any kind of bullet or any size clip or magazine.

The bill will not create a national registry; in fact, it explicitly prohibits it.

Mitch's last assignment was to make President Obama a one termer, he failed to get the job done. Mitch has spent the last two years roadblocking any and everything the President wanted to do. Mitch has voted against workers, jobs, seniors, education and anything else the President wanted to do to help the people.

Mitch thought Ashley Judd was planning to run against him for his Senate seat so he and his staff assembled a hit file with which to charcter assignate Judd. Ashley Judd did not run but Mitch and his team got caught red handed when someone recorded of of their meetings and exposed their lowlife campaign style. The making of the recording may not have been legal but what the recording exposed was beneath contempt. Mitch is without doubt a republican scum to his core.
