Fanatics in the republican party are blind to the damage that they have done to the country by shutting the government down. They are standing firm and fully intend to default on the obligations the country has already accrued and owes. Their senseless attack on America has already cost us our triple A credit rating and clowns like Ted Cruz and his tea party followers will not stop until they burn the whole thing down.

For some strange reason people who have been republicans for years and always voted that way don't seem to understand their republican party is Gone, Gone, Gone. The only thing left are the far right idelogs who run what was once a great and proud party.
The United States is no longer a two party system. There are the nut job conservatives and the Democratic Party. Even the religious right is softening their positions and drawing back from Ted Cruz and the tea party. In what passes for the republican party today you are either Far Right or Ultra Far Right.
Here's something else the Cruz Tea Party will not admit, The American Health Care Act or as they call it Obama Care is liked by the majority of the people and more and more are tilting toward happy with it as they go online and see the amount they can save over their old insurance costs or enjoy being able to purchase insurance for the first time.
For eighty five per cent of the population nothing changed except the premiums got cheaper, they got to keep what they liked and had for years at a lower cost. For the ones who could not get insurance that option is now available to them at an affordable rate.
Insurance costs are rising now at the lowest rate in 46 years.
More people having insurance will make your hospital stay cheaper since the rates will no longer need to be padded to cover the uninsured. Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, Louie Gomert, on and on, nut job after nut job spinning their particular lying fantasy about a health care act designed to get insurance for uninsured people.
Look in Michelle Bachmann's eyes and you can tell she is bat shit crazy. Hear her speak and there is no doubt she is mentally disturbed. It is frightening, because like Sarah Palin, Bachmann is a beloved tea party member with many followers. There is no way those who follow her are any less insane than she is. They tried to collect premiums and pay out as little as possible. Their CEO's earned earth shatering amounts as a salary and paid as few claims as possible.
Now 85% of the money they collect must be paid out in claims. Before depending on the company this payout amount was as low as 17%. Insurance companies used to drop you after you had a few claims and what ever they had paid for became a pre
existing condition and was used to deny you coverage with every other company. You were out of luck and had to live the rest of your life without insurance except for what ever coverage the place you worked for provided to you. Many jobs don't offer insurance and here's the kicker, your medical records might possibly keep you from being hired by a company that did.
Republicans who have always been tools of big business liked things the way they used to be and big business sent them plenty of contributions to make sure things never changed. Even now that Obama Care is law the Koch Brothers, Charlie and David are funneling money to organizations they set up to try and derail Obama Care. They are also trying to derail the Unions, OSHA, Enviormental Protection Agency and any other body that has rules that cost them money by regulating safety, the enviromental damage they are allowed to do and other rules designed to protect the planet.
Every lie that could be told was heaped upon Obama and his Administration. He wasn't born in this country, he was a secret this or that. You fill in the word and some nut job republican tea party jerk will say it on tv during an interview for fox news.
Now the government is shut down and the GOP Ted Cruz tea party won't stop crying. To those of you who vote for republicans please be advised that it will come home to haunt you and it won't take much longer. You have helped a fringe group of nuts shut down the government in the country you live in. What kind of a fool are you?

During the Jeff Price campaign for the first time I met people who thought Sarah Palin was brilliant and that her thoughts made sense. It was hard to understand what these people were reacting to.
Michelle Bachmann has the same sort of followers as do Ted Cruz, Louie Gomert and a score of tea party republicans that I think are mentally deficient. It is a wonder our system functions at all. Luckily most districts contained a fair mix of people untill recently and the crazy element was watered down. Now the parties have drawn districts that have mostly people of one persuasion. 90% of Congressional seats are safe and remain in the same parties hands each time an election takes place.

Amherst County has elected Bob Goodlatte to congress for the last 22 years and his tea party replacement has already been chosen. Ben Cline is just waiting for Goodlatte to retire and the 60% republican voters in Amherst County are waiting to do the deed.

Most districts are even more one sided than Virginia's 6th district. The lines of the districts are redrawn in ways that make no sense other than to make the district safe from any challenge. The system that the founding fathers left us has been destroyed to boost the power of the political parties.
