Saturday, June 16, 10:00 AM, "GottaVote Weekend of Action", On the weekend of June 16th, volunteers all across the country will be working to bring more voices into the political process. Be a part of the GottaVote Weekend of Action to make sure your neighbors are ready to vote in November. Local Obama for America organizer Rex Young will be kicking off this event from the Lynchburg Democratic Committee Offices on the third floor of the Galleria, 915 Main Street in downtown Lynchburg. Wednesday, June 20, 7:00 - 9:00 PM - Lynchburg Democrats will hold their regular June meeting at Charley's Restaurant located at 707 Graves Mill Road, next to Pinkerton Chevrolet. President Obama's Lynchburg field representative, Rex Young, will address us at this meeting. This will be a social event where you may order food and drink from the menu and have fun with your fellow Dems. Get involved, stay informed and come join us.
Saturday, June 23, 1:00 - 4:00 PM - The Bedford Democratic Committee invites you to join in a conversation with Tim Kaine at the Bedford Democratic Headquarters, 133 West Main Street in Bedford. Tim will arrive around 2:00. Susan Douglass, wife of 5th Congressional District Democratic candidate John Douglass, will join the conversation. Tickets are $25 per person. Campaign Materials - The Lynchburg Democratic Committee office has bumper stickers and other items supporting the re-election of President Obama, the election of Tim Kaine for Senator and Andy Schmookler for Congress.
