Mary Ann was among our closest SBC friends. We met her soon after she and Bill arrived on campus, and she always knew how to include us as active faculty colleagues even though we were by then retirees. A gracious hostess...we shall miss her. Our most sincere condolences to her family.

Both Mary Ann and Bill invited my wife and I over to their home several times.   We were honored that the two of them attended our first cookout when we moved to Sweet Briar College.    Our sincerest condolences to Mary Ann's Family.

I worked with Mary Ann on quite a few election days for the Amherst Democrats.   The last time I saw her was this past election night and she was all smiles.   She was a great hostess--her holiday parties were legend here at SBC, and a friend to all. We will miss her.

This is so sad.   We enjoyed playing golf with Mary Ann and Bill. She so loved living.   Cancer can indeed be cruel.    Unfortunately, we'll miss the Mass for her as we'll be in New York then.   A check-up with my oncologist....
